Has any1 got nitrous fitted onto their turbo mini???

Reading The yellow bible by Vizard he suggests that Nos could be used to reduce turbo lag??

I know the mini engine is about as reliable as the british postal system but has any1 tried it???

It has been done, not sure if turbo dave has nos fitted. It can be made to work just dont go crazy with it and make sure that the engine and gearbox can cope with the power and torque it will produce.

Also if you are thinking of using it on the road then i think insurance cover my be a bit of a big issue

Had it fitted, but never saw full benefit from it, so it's sat in my workshop awaiting the next car (decided against fitting to my sierra!)

Darryll Cripps has it on his turbo however, and hasn't blown anything yet, and has 75hp jets in it!!!
