No touched my mini this year, been working on the race transporter ready to carry the new mini around. Not quite as technical or powerfull as the 16v turbo, but great fun.

The wife and I are both racing on grass this year. I have been ironing out a few faults with the car and she's going well. I managed my first win yesterday *happy* but then someone took me out in the final and broke my steering rack.

looking for any 998 parts people have kicking around, and spare body panels.

it is meant to be non contact, if contact is made and deemed to be planned you will get black flagged. But when you have 10 cars all heading for the same corner some contact does happen.

Im in agreement with this, i think grass tracking is a bit of a waste of a good shell. I do like the look of Mini Cross however.

My suspicion is that hes going to build another mad a-series, but why would he rid the whole of his engine and box...

conversion with a turbo perhaps?

Will be racing at Seven Valley next weekend, (nic's land). You need a pretty big budget to race class one as the entry fee's are steep, last meeting was £2 per car as my wife is racing the same car in the ladies class it cost us £4 to race. As regards to wrecking a good shell, the shell last for years and years on the track, it just get's new pannels fitted each season

Must be a little frustrating at times with only ~40hp after experiencing 250hp. foot to the floor, engine screaming and it still wont go any faster *hehe!*

I fancy this too. Can we start a turbo charged class? *hehe!*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

class 7 allows turbo's unlimited cc, two bike engines or single car engine. Crazy fun!

40hp, i've managed to squese 51.5bhp from mine.

it's chalk and chese compared to my yellow mini, but it does feel quick on the track when up against other minis with very simular power.
