My Volvo T5 is up for sale guys, having moved to a new house I just haven't the room to keep it, and only use it on weekends anyway.

2001 X Volvo V70 T5 2.3L 5 cylinder turbo 250bhp.
Ex Cheshire Police pursuit car
162000 miles, most of which have been sat between trucks on the M6 at 56 mph. I have seen T5's with twice this mileage!

Serviced every three months by the police IIRC, I have some paper work detailing the exact dates. Serviced by my self just before Christmas.

Very straight for an ex police car, no holes in body work, the odd ding where a crim has been bounced off the bonnet. No holes in dash, one small cut in dash above glove box.

Pulls like a train, still amazes me how fast a car this big can move. Fitted with a tow bar, which I used to pull the mini around with, coped with it no problem. The car comes with a second rear number plate for trailer.

The police spec does not include any mods to the engine, contrary to popular belief, all they do is have the limiter taken off and the suspension beefed up to cope with the gear they carry.

Full traction and stability control.
Dual zone temperature control
Sony IPOD compatible MP3 player, with infinity reference components in the doors which have been fully sound deadened. The speakers are powered by a small cheap amp under the passenger seat.

All tyres have at least 5mm tread, the two front ones are less than 6 months old.
Around 8 months MOT left
Just taxed last month so 11 months tax.

In the time I have had the car I have only had to replace an engine top mount bush and the radiator fan.

The only issue with the car is the alarm siren, the internal battery unit has failed, so the siren does not sound, even though the alarm/immobiliser still functions. I have never felt the need to look into it.

Car has just had a full 3 step prep/polish/wax and looks great.

This car has been a joy to own, not only is a great car to drive, and shifts to boot, the fun you have on the motorway when other drivers see it is priceless. It is amazingly practical, swallows even whole 3 seat sofas, I do not know how I will cope with out it!

I have a few guys locally interested, so it may sell quite soon, but I thought it may interest someone on here too.

the value in cars over there is astounding, that is a lot of car for that little cash. best of luck with the sale, you should have no problem.

dads was on it, and our lass has done over 5 cars in 3 years :(
