Hi all
after a search I have found posts that say the top connection is for the front Brakes and some say the bottom. Looking at the master cylinder the top looks like .70 and the bottom .75 I'm guessing the larger bore is to move more fluid to the front calipers but then I thaught the lower pressue would be better at the back? Anyone know ?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Makes sense?

Small bores at the MC makes MORE pressure. Forget the amount of fluid, that's sufficient.
You want a bigger bore at the rear. Remember force/area.
The smaller the area, the higher the pressure.

On the caliper/wheels cylinders, the opposite apply.

Mine is 'wired' the same as V's. don't forget the bias valve in the rear line.

I too have plumbed the lower (larger bore part) into the rear.

Apart from the logic Vegard quotes above, in the box was a note stating that if using it to replace a black tag master cylinder (which has equal bores) a pair of conversion pipes are required between the master cylinder and bias valve to (a) deal with the metric connections on the yellow tag master and (b) reverse the connections. My Son's Mini and the shell I acquired recently both have black tag masters and the bottom connection is the front on those so the conversion must mean yellow tag master cylinder bottom connection becomes rear.

EDIT - and I too have done away with the bulkhead bias valve and used the older type in just the rear line mounted on the rear subframe.
