im hoping to get my mini running tonight, just wondering what the powers going to be like as i havent fitted a bleed valve yet so its ganna be running at 4/5psi standard right??? anyways, the engine is standard apart from s/c drop gears and maniflow 2" exhaust system.

how much power dya rekon it have, and will it be quicker than a stock mg1275 with 'vmax road plus head' which is what i was running before?

one last thing...im welding the pipe to the plenum for the dump valve,do i need to remove the spring on the plenum and block it or just leave it alone????

thanks alot guys

dan *happy*

Resident Cylinder Head Modifier

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

a guestimate is 4or 5 psi boost on standard actuator no ecu..... 50 bhp..ish

the standard dump valve cracks off at around 10 to 12 psi
like jimster says blank it off:
fire a 3/8" BSP tap in and fit a blank

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

I would think you should see 80hp {flywheel} or so on 4/5psi.

I like bananas to....

Your engine should run a little higher bhp that normal with a hot head and a larger diameter down pipe, run decent fuel and have it set up PROPERLY and you will be safe on 10psi unintercooled.
