After some 8 years I'm thinking about selling my British Open Classic.

I sorned it a year a go when it failed it's MoT on the rear subframe, I have a new one but obviously it needs fitting. Also the engine is not running right & it down on power, I've not had the time to look at it but i've got a spare MG metro lump. Also the head unit doesn't turn on, it may be the head unit or it may be a wiring problem & if I was keeping the car I'd probably fit a new loom.

On the plus side the shell is pretty solid and is one of the mot luxurious minis out there with extra leather & wood through out. The susspension has all been overhauled and is fully adjustable all round. The car is running 6x10 GBs with Yoko A008s on fiesta brakes however I still have to original wheels which I'll include with it.

I appreachite that now running projects don't fetch as much as runners but it's got a few nice bits.

That's the plan, I don't have the time to do the work it needs, I've had the rear subframe for two years now and haven't got round to fitting. If it was all sorted it would be a fair bit easier to value.

Sorry Tom, my mates wants to buy it & I've said he can have if if we can agree a price, now I'm trying to figure out what it's worth, I don't want to rip him off nor do I want to give it away.

This probably sounds a bit strange but I think I know where you live Rob! I don't think I've ever seen you around, I just know where that picture is taken.
