Due to a change of direction to 2 wheels and a looming insurance bill, I’m selling all the Twin Cam conversion parts I’ve accumulated over the last year or so.

As a complete package, the price is £900.

Collection on the head please (or can arrange P&P at cost). The other parts I'll include delivery.

If there is more interest in separating the head, SC kit and SC Exhaust, the unit prices are shown below. I'm not going to split the SC kit at the moment but will gauge interest in it as a lot rather than individual parts.

BMW K1200RS 16v Twin Cam Cylinder Head Assembly :

Cylinder Head Assembly from 1997 K1200RS (supplied in kit form to me by ‘Motor Works’ BMW Bike Breakers)
Fuel Rail & Injectors
Magnesium Cam Cover & Rubber Seal
4 x 38mm Throttle Bodies, Linkage & Fuel Pipes
Injector sub loom

The kit contains all of the used BMW motorcycle parts required when converting an A or A+ engine to the large port BMW K1200RS 16v twin cam cylinder head, complete with fuel injection, 16v head, high lift RS cams, buckets, springs, caps & collets, wasted stem valves, valve guides, magnesium rocker cover, injectors, large bore 38mm throttle body assembly, linkage & fuel pipes, throttle position switch, fuel rail and engine sub loom.

The head is unmodified and is in a serviceable used condition having valve seats suitable for use with unleaded fuel. It came from a 14,000 mile 1997 bike developing approx. 120bhp as standard.

It would be relatively easy to convert this head to carbs if this is prefered over EFi as the injectors are mounted externally in the intake stubs rather than cast into the head.

K1200RS heads are probably the top of the range and despite being very sought after, don’t come up that often.

1 x Extended Crank Bolt
1 x SC Block Drilling Template & Instructions
4 x SC Billet Ram Pipes
1 x Cam Belt and Tensioner Pulley Kit

All parts still wrapped in SC bubble wrap.

Does NOT come with; (1) Cam Pulleys (part used Ford parts widely available or new vernier pulleys available from Kent, Piper, Burton etc) and (2) Head Gasket (depends on your cc and compression).

NEW SC Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold with Lambda Sensor take-off, Y piece and clamps, still in the SC box.

£200 (includes delivery)
