Sorry if I seem a bit lost, but fuel pumps and flows rates is a bit new to me. But what's the opinion of anyone who has an eaton supercharger set up when it comes to the fuel pump & pressure ?. I think it should be about 3 psi to run the set up, but do I need a higher psi rated facet pump like a competition, which I think is rated as 5-7 psi, and then run a return to the tank via a regulator set at 3psi ? or will the pressure regulator restrict the flow without a return to the tank & I then have the opportunity to turn up the flow rate, should I raise the boost at a later date ?. Or do I just go for a pump that runs 3psi & change it for a higher rated one, should I raise the boost ?.

Engine spec is- 1293 turbo engine fully rebuilt to make sure it's totally up to the job, cam6581 turbo crank, rods balanced and stress relieved, all new bearings throughout. Big centre main strap, Arp bolts throughout, Omega 15cc pistons, morspeed head, to achieve 8.4.1 cr with the pistons, with race valves & porting etc (the usual basically) + 11 stud. vmax scart 265 supercharger specific cam + titan 1.5 full roller rockers. Eaton s/charger (brand new, so should take some abuse for a while), hiff44 carb (fully rebuilt), with vmax anti ice filter. Vmax charger cooler, fully rebuilt box with a new straight cut kit, 4 pin diff, central pick up, and straight cut drops, 3.2 final drive. Full pre-verto set up & ultralight flywheel and back plate, grey spring and race clutch. 2 core rad. The supercharger pulley is standard for now, as I wanted to see what boost it made & drove like as it. I think they are about 8psi .

I'll be using an spi tank and pump for my supercharged engine. Standard metro pressure regulator with the rising rate bit venting to air

spi pump os only good for 1 bar of pressure... so if your rooting for 10psi blower pressure and 4psi base, your pushing it *wink*

EDIT jsu tnoticed stevie is already on the case lol.. if suck through itll be fine.

My suck through sc12, 3 psi is fine at 10PSI

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

basically the same as n/a, or plumb it as apbellamy suggests
id set the pressure to about 3.5 and the carb will do the rest

Any carb pump delivering 3 or 4psi will work. I wouldn't bother with regs or returns, lots of weight and complication for no benefit.
