I'm intending on connecting the LC1 to the MJ in my car. I've installed the latest version of the firmware and can see the inputs within the software.

Question is, where do you physically connect the inputs?

Anton should be able to fill you in on this, I believe you will have to make an extra circuit to add this functionality on the V3.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Ah, I expected it would either be obvious or a pain in the arse!

Ah ha! Found the info I was looking for. Typical, I've been trawling the Autosports site for ages and I find this as soon as I post here.

what's the ieda of connecting the LC1 into the MJ?

is it so you can log RPM vs Boost vs AFR and convert the 0-5v output into a proper AFR to graph it all?

If that works, then that'd be really cool!

thats how anton did mine for me :)

you can also use it to automatically back the timing off if it leans out.

Yup, logging was the main thing for me, but you can use it for all sorts of clever stuff.

For reference, V4 has this functionality out of the box.

Sorry to drag this one from its depths, but ill be fitting an wideband toward the end of the summer when £££s permits. To send a signal to the aux in from a wideband do you have to mod the R6 connection on the board to accept 0.5v or will it just accept it? Also does the Mj then know to stick the extra data into the logger so theres no messing around?

Cheers

Mike
