Hey Everyone

Ive tubbed my rear arches, but now im wondering if i can use lowered shock absorbers without raising the turrent.

Has any1 done this? And what shock absorbers do people use?

Im running 12" wheels n hopeing to get it quite low.

Cheers

the lowered shock absorbers are so you dont need to raise the shock mount

im running gaz lowered all round but im running that low my front shock mounts are over an inch higher than stock, for the rear, the radius arm will hit the boot floor before the shocks bottom out
edit, actually thinking about it, i never wound it down at the rear with the shocks on, but the arm hits the floor before i get to where i would like it, on the deck :)

my build thread on the mayfair shows how much material i had to take off the hi/lo to get low enough

you cant go lower than i have tested and have suspension travel. my suspension just disassembled itself when i jacked it up *happy*

mini spares red dot cone, ms hi/lo, gaz lowered adjustable shocks

its sat at about 3 inch ground clearance at the sill but i can go as low as about an inch no problems, like i say its not the shocker on mine its the radius arm on the chassis, my arches are tubed too

Do your shock absorbers have any movement in them though, they must be completely closed if its that low

Thank You
