I once drove an armored 9000 and it still moved. Mind, you couldn't open the boot completely or the front corners would scratch the 1.5" thick rear screen. I guess the 9-3 will be quicker with any engine tho, weighing some 3,000lbs less*wink*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Well as you know I have a 95 estate with the 2.3 turbo. I am quite happy with it. Could be better quality and at 100k miles I have had a few things fail recently, but nothing major. There are plenty of forums etc and a good range of online suppliers of parts.

I test drove a 120bhp 9-3 Tid before i bought the audi - thought it was well underpowered and turned round half way through the test drive. 150bhp model might be better and I know there is a more potent one available now but not sure what.

my old boss has one and loves it and I did like the spec levels inside.

It's a vectra wearing a different frock. Exactly the same car underneath.

You know what I mean - it's all stamped GM. look at things like the steering wheel.
