To me this is to drag racing what drifting is to road racing.

Yeah its huge over here. Every dickhead in a commodore/falcon has steelies on the back and the rims on the front. Complete waste of time though.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

So the idea is that you do a big burn out and then slide into the barrier wrecking what was once a nice car?

No they were never nice cars.
And your doing the greater population a favour by killing yourself and all spectators with poisonous gases.

I love the quick clip of a jet engined car trying to join in.

So what's the objective of this "sport"?

For those that were at the EFi Minis 16v dynoshoot out last year, did anyone notice the mazda in the back of the workshop with what looked like a shot gun hole in the bonnet *Yes* *hehe!*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

the old RX7 bonnet opens forwards so you can truely appreciate the damage you have done to the engine, without having to get out of the car *hehe!*

Its so popular here in Oz. Some of these jokers are happily blowing up $30,000+ motors just to say they won. But to say the cars were never nice (Best Stig) is a lie. The top competitors are driving $300000+ street machines with build qualities that put concourse cars to shame. I agree its no sport but doing what they do in 1500hp cars takes serious driving skill.

The powerskids make more sense than burnouts, being able to lay down that much rubber for that length of a distance without touching the brakes or using a linelock takes some power! I miss Australia, sometimes I wonder why I imigrated back to Ireland.
