Ours is about half way between the turbo and the downpipe bend. It seemed the best place, where there was enough space.

Turbo engines are 'safest' between11 and 11.5 on lambda - don't know what that is in volts though... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

OK Now i'm getting confused. A lot of nice graphs though. Would it be best to keep it lower down on the down pipe like say at the bottom? |

wide band sensor is quicker and more accurate (but as usual costs more), measured voltage is 0- 5 v i think ,air fuel ratio i would go for is 12:1 which equates to 6.5 percent CO under load , just put it somewhere the speed ramps wont attack it ! |

) and i set it up using the innovatemotorsports LM-1 gauge. You can use the cheaper gauge from SI to tune but not being wideband it's not so easy. My cars running a 45 weber and seems to run rich under load and idles at midpoint say 14:1 (Green on the gauge) so not to bad.
