just been having a few thoughts recently after starting the car up and driving it for a bit now and knowing everything works want to change a few things

what is my next step in performance?

what would my current torque and bhp be?

would mounting the turbo over the clutch make much difference to performance?

my current step is
N/A 1275 block with standard pistons
turbo carb and inlet with dump valve
t3 turbo on standard manifold with induction pipe and airfilter
fiesta rs intercooler mounted behind the grill
megajolt
side mounted rad as well as aux rad up front
as well as bleed valve
and turbo head

what boost are you running?

next step in performance maybe an overbore?, run higher boost, some head modifications?

i dnt know what the T3s can run but 5psi seems rather low to me?

theres no way to definatly say what your power will be only way you will know is to rolling road it.

Also what cam do you have?

ok,
well first of all maybe up the boost a fair amount, 14psi/1bar?, as it sounds like your running it quite low,
Remap the megajolt see if any power can be gained there
and maybe port and polish the head,
a alloy intercooler could offer a small improvement in power also

depends how you drive it,
The gearbox is defiantly a weak point for high power if you want to drive it fast, so its worth considering upgrading at some point
however if its a concern maybe 10psi?

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

if its all standard stuff with no intercooler dont be tempted to pass 8psi of boosrt or it will end in tears

first clutch will slip then the drops will fail then the diff ....etc......

please get your self up to speed its all been coverd before

hopethis helps

he is running an inter cooler so i thought 10psi would be ok...
however blister i would take Benross's word on this.

So looks like a gearbox upgrade is the next step before going to mad

There's more to porting a head than just hacking away & making the ports bigger. I'd suggest having a good read of Vizards big yellow book to get an idea of the basics.

140bhp is very feasable if everythings done correctly, however might want to look at getting interal components strengthened or maybe im being to cautious with mine *tongue*

Yes the elbow's pretty straight forward if you've got a decent grinder. :)
