has anyone ever thought about fitting a motorbikes alternator onto a mini? there much smaller and lighter

now you say about it running off crank that looks like it would could it not be changed?

Well that could be converted, I suppose. But a lot of bikes these days have an alternator that is kind of part of the fly wheel which are more difficult to adapt

The r6 has a load of inductors in one of the end caps of the engine. Im looking at running a daihatsu 3 cylinder alternator. Theyre pretty small and hopefully should be able to run what i need.
