Hi all,

I looked at a '75 Clubby 'shell today. The outer sills are gone and part of the front floor panels as well, but otherwise it's amazingly sound. It comes with bonnet, grille, bumpers, doors and bootlid. It comes with a '75 original Dutch V5 which is nice. Only problem is the missing front subframe, which is the 4 bolt type. How hard is it to convert to the later type? The early model is near impossible to get here for decent money. Meanwhile if anyone's interested PM me; not sure what to do with it myself really; just thought I'd save it.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

those early subframes are not exactly rare though are they? I think there is also differences where the rear of the subframe mounts... Strengthening is different.

It'll ruin his originality, as both Veg and Mike look for an original subby, I've got three at home they're not that diffiult to cross.

that was the whole point of the question: nothing easy about that in NL, nevermind cheap. Basically my/the car's only hope is that vendor can reclaim the one from the actual car that he gave away to a mate.

thanks Vegard, but shipping would cost a bloody fortune*wink*
Anyway, car's been sold to someone else, so I'll just focus on my Pick Up Turbo project (oh, and the Jaguar XJS supercharged project I'm starting next week)
