Sorry to bring the harness ???? up again...

I have just bought a tpi 5 way 3" harness,The shoulder straps only reach about a foot over the back of the seat.

A)Can extensions be bought (about 2 foot) to reach bottom of back seat ?I think you can get ones for body harnesses for up ladder use etc but don't know what mr MOT man would say.

B)Would it be ok on rear diagonal with one higher than the other?
or
C)weld a parrellel on the cage just behind shoulders

You've bought formula ones, not saloon ones. They are much shorter. Get the proper ones, you don't want to skimp on this.

i had a similar problem with my harnesses, i welded a parellel bar onto my roll cage and it is fine. went through the mot without a problem but the main thing is that it is safe your life depends on it, *indifferent*

modify the cage to suit then it looks like,got them of ebay with no pic,found a pic on net(which must have been longer) *oh well*
Pretty sure I have seen straps somewhere thou as if you have a 3 point harness they join into one behind the seat.
