When you parked it up, the turbo was still very hot. It basically boiled all the fuel out of the float bowl in your carb. You had to wait for it to fill up again before it would run. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

Ahhhhh, that could be it. Hmmm. So do you just leave the fuel pump running for a while before you start it.

I believe Mr Vizard says you should let a turbo motor run for 30 sec or so before switching off or setting off on fire up and shut down. Not to sure how much good such a short period off time can do? |

That run on period is to allow the turbo to cool down a bit with oil flowing through it.

I believe Vizard said if you don't you can boil the oil that will be left in the turbo, but surly it cant cool that quickly. I can understand the theory but surly 30sec cant do the job |

It all depends on how hot the turbo is and how much therefore you have been towsing it.
