Is this a normal amount of flex in the slider guides These are Fiesta calipers been on since some time in 07. You can feel the extra effort in the pedal as an extra "step". The first press pushed the pads out the extra pedal movement seems to be flexing the slider guides which cant be doing much for braking force. It seems to be a feature of the sliding caliper as there is rubber between the caliper mounting and the slider bolt.
I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

the piston and guides seem to move freely the guides are clean and have the grease in that came with the calipers. I'm wondering if the MC on the mini is smaller than the fiesta so you feel it more at the pedal. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

The only flexing I saw was in your arms.
