Why keep us guessing? Tell us your age and then somebody will say I am X years old and I have insurance for Y pounds. Or something like that.

Well I'm 30 and John is 27 (??). Our turboed metro van costs £350 with up to 150 bananas, all mods declared. For 3k miles with me and him and 6ish years no claims.

If it was a plain old metro with a turbo engine and not a van it would have been about £150.

My mini with similar mods declared and upto 150bhp again is only £130 comp.

Somewhere around Swindon

i added my old chap onto mine as a second driver and oddly the insurance went down, i then did the same on the audi and the same happened

not sure why as i am sure two drivers increase the risk

sorry for the thread hyjack, most of the time they ( im my case) want a list of mods and a power figure, they base it on that, my 998 was about 40% up on std so 40% more to pay, my turbo engine was "rated" at 94 aka std so 0% increase i think thats how it worked.

same car same company different engine saved ~40% and gained 50bhp *happy*
