I think you've made a wiser choice with the cam than the 320 you said you were going to use.

Just a thought, would it not be better to go for say a 286 ? Will you see anymore power using a 296 when you're surely going to have to set your rev limit to something fairly sensible when using a long stroke crank ? |

I'm not sure, the 1380 I had (was borrowing off a mate) had a 286 and it was a sheer let down.

296 will work great with that spec, make sure you keep good swirl in combustion chambers, compression is spot on use a little cvl in each tank to get the best from it run water temp at 80 deg set the cam in. At 104 and use .018' valve clearances at it should pull well over 120 bannas On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

If you want to compete in sprints then you'll need to stick to under 1400, otherwise you'll not be elligable for anything. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |
