These are some photos of my almost finished pick up. I brought it as a project. I have swopped the 998cc for a 1275cc, with low compression pistons, flowed head, running megajolt, belt drive, roller rockers etc etc. It also has vented metro brakes and coil spring conversion / hi los. I brought this after loving my first mini 18 years ago. Should be moted sometime over the summer. hope you like it.

James

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,
talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking motor.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

no power figures yet, i have not had it running for more than 5 mins yet. It was built from a turbo motor that was making (i was told) about 130bhp. I will be happy with something around 120bhp. Will have to play with the pulley sizes once on the road. The pistons had massive dishes, i struggled to find some rings for them, The head had a standard ish volume, but with the pistons the cr is around 8:1. Hoping for good things, but i think the m42 charger is going to be too small.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
