Properly*tongue*

Anyone got any guidance on this, looking for an online 'how to' type guide, or suggestions on a good book to read, anyone bought the Haynes? 'How to' book from Halfords, is it detailed enough or just about small repairs etc?

Found some online paint suppliers but tbh I haven't a clue what i need to buy...

Suggestions not involving a brush and a can of dulux gratefully recieved*wink*

Thanks for the replies so far, my intention is just to paint the car in primer, after working on various areas, its just a pain having to use cans all the time, final paint will be done by a pro.

You could do a good caption for that photo like those birthday cards you see......

How about "Jim was strangely confused when he realised someone had chopped off his right arm and replaced it with a football"

Not very sunny swanage

one quick thing to brear in mind is that primer is notr waterproof, ie it will not stop the pannel from rusting underneath the primer.... not really a pproblem in a nice heated garage, but if its anywhere else, it is not a good idea for a car to be sat around in primer for a long period of time......

like other people have said, paiting a car is 90%prep........

hth

pete

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!
