May be it's a bit expensive for the people hanging around there LOL. Edited by alpa on 17th Jun, 2010. std 998 A+, g295, MD266, RHF4, 109hp @0.8bar/5400rpm |

If you're thinking about getting a MegaSquirt, that may not be the best choice depending on how you need to connect the sensors to get the display working. Sharing the sensors between the MS and dash may not be the most accurate and it would be better to get the digital data from the MS to have a display of the same data that is used for ignition and fueling.

I'll have to post up there. Any other digital recommendations? And just off the top of my head, I think the only one that would share is the tacho? Maybe you saw something I didn't?

Actually, I saw water temp and that just raised a flag. But now that you mention it and after having another look, that would seem to be the only one since you'd actually use the tacho output from the MS to feed this digital dash.

You're talking the engine temp right? Refresh me, what's the MS use the temp for? And like you said, tacho could be pulled of of the ms, since you have to have the tacho working for ms to work right anyway... |

The engine temp is used for warm up enrichment. There are also a few other options for over temp protection but the value is not used for fueling computations or ignition timing under normal operation.

ah. I see. I imagine that might be something else that could be run through the megasquirt easily as well. Just nuts and bolts, or in this case wires and sensors...
