hi guys

i was on a post few weeks back that seems to have gone silent, was regarding many problems with mini performance and missfiring due to what everyone believed was a ballasted live cable to lucas turbo coil! for you more experienced mini turbo owners could this lead to loss of power, refusing to idle and missfire? The general result of the other chat was that another cable must be run form another ignition source, could anyone tell me the best place to run the source?

I ran a decent cable straight from the battery with an inline fuse & switch just for this purpose.
