Turbo and MS question

I'm getting ready to drop on a turbo on to my mini, and I have a couple questions, yes, I know, search function, but I haven't found these answered yet, or I'm not typing in the right search terms.

Where is it connecting to on the MS? And my other two questions are basic: Can one boost controller work multiple turbo's? And lastly: I'm only using MS for ignition right now, is there anything in particular that's different about putting on a turbo?

I assume you don't actually have the MS yet ???
Once you have it in your hand, it becomes obvious, there is a hole in the end panel below the DB37 connector and the barbed connector that you push the tube over is just inside that hole. (The MAP sensor is soldered to the PCB just behind the panel).

If you are going to use the MS for boost control, it only has one output channel but there is no reason why it couldn't drive multiple boost control valves so long as the output transistor is suitably rated - depending on which port you choose to use you either have to build your own output circuitry anyway or if you choose PM2 (the most logic if you're going for injection later and the only one with with cicuitry on the standard build), the existing transistor has to be uprated anyway for a single PWM boost control valve, so just check the standard upgrade is enough for two valves, the coils inside them don't draw that much current, especially as it's PWM.

MS used for ignition only is similar to MJ but with added functionallity so just "borrow" a MJ map that is safe for a boosted engine then set it up properly on a rolling road. If there are a different number of cells on an MJ vs MS map, just interpolate and enter it manually.

Cheers Rod, you're right about me not having the MS yet, so I'll see when I get it. I'll get in contact with DIYautotune, and have them get it coming my direction, I just didn't want to order and then have to order more...
