Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

im not sure you would feel much air movement, i think they work best when directly next to what you are trying to cool. |

A PC radial fan is not the same as a forward curved centrifugal fan. Radial fans move lots of air with very little static pressure, while centrifugal fans move shit loads of air with high static pressure. If you have any sort of resistance to the air flow such as the heater matrix, and then the ducting up to the wind screen, the PC fans just wont cut it! On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

there are plenty of CPU fans out there that can shift a shit load of air, i used to have a 9cm fan that shifted over 80cfm (cant seem to find it)

air flow is not everything. I thought I explained that. Perhaps not.

Try it, and let us know how you get on its got to work better than my current mini heater matrix fan jobbie which just doesnt work and will be way smaller and lighter :) i'm not running water through it so there will be no heater matrix. Will be just a suck and blow design of air in the car, nothing radical really. time will tell....all about finding the right fan though first as i only want it to be an 80mm one really. thanks for the fans guys also i've no idea how much air they really shift i.e in comparasson to what 50cfm feels like but i may order 2 of these. http://www.coolermaster.co.uk/product.php?...product_id=6620 Edited by t@z on 23rd Jun, 2010. |

why not use 1 or 2 of these , they are designed for exactly what you want to do and will out perform a pc fan.
