should be fine to vent it through the boot floor in the normal way, but I would at least leave the valve in place. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

i have an spi tank but there is no type of valve on my breather it just goes out the boot floor from top of tank, the car smells of petrol all of the time, could this be because of the lack of this valve thing?
