Proven 200+bhp & Avon Park 05,06,07 Class D 3rd place

Well I've spotted a very small crack in one of my discs (it's really hard to spot), see if you can........... do they need changing do you think?

i had a vented set on an astra that were cracked right through to the center via the stud hole!

just disconnect that calliper then you can have torque brake to go with your torque steer *happy*

I count atlast 9 stress cracks in that picture good effort *Clapping* . Its interesting how they are all in the centre of the disc face.

Paint them and turn them into paper weights *happy*

I'd seriously choose a different make too - whoever dreamt up those grooves hasn't the first clue about about how discs expand.

Note the main crack is at exactly 90 degrees to one of the inside grooves (and dead in the middle of it) and parallel to the outer grooves....

They are shocking. I've never had a disk crack like that.

The only ting they're good for stopping is doors.

Great answers chaps. TBH i think these are good discs, i've had them on the car now for many years and it's not a standard car after all. I may not do track days but i do use the car lol.

Just for you that thought i was on another planet, new discs and pads are now fitted to car :)
