sorry to be a pain but can someone look at my engine bay pic and see if my dumpvalve is in an ok place as although i'm only running 7 psi i want to make sure it will work later on you can just hear it at the mo but i want to scare old ladies! also if i when i add my intercooler how much do you have to change the ignition timing by? any help would be great thanks

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

the dump valve needs to be situated as close "ish" to the plenum as poss

if you have no intercooler at the moment, the plenum is your only option, plumb it there

It looks like you have a diapram dump valve, I have one too and I have found they are not very loud.

It looks like its fitted to the plenum chamber, ves this is the best place for it.

Piston type dump valves may be louder - but I have never owned one so I cannot vouch for this.

I never bought one because the piston seals can get petrol contamination on turbomins for some reason.

on your pic
when you fit an intercooler thats the right place to place it in the pipe work
go for the intercooler ASAP & you will be "so suprised"
more power same boost!*happy*
