the current threads dont really answer what i want

i am getting alot of clutch judder, i thought it was due to the aged engine mount that broke last week but now that been fixed along with an exhaust mount and it is feels alot worse now, it does it worst on a med-hard set off in 1st, and is very very violent :(

std unmolested 998, verto clutch, std new engine mounts and polly steady bushes
is there a mechanical failure that could cause this?
any pointers where i could look, would a primary gear seal leak cause this?

cheers

van judders a bit too. I put it down to something being warped or unevenly worn.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Could be a number of things;-

Primary Gear Oil Seal,
Worn Primary Gear Bushes,
Warped Flywheel / backing plate,
Worn Splines in the clutch plate,
Bent Crank Tail,
Flywheel bolt is loose

i dont want to jinx it but it seems to be settling down, its probably down to the years of not being used

it get alot worse as the engine gets hotter, after a 30 mile trip, setting of is a case of re-clutching when its rolling and slipping the revs up 1k or so
