Hi,

I bought a K&N filter for the turbo, was wondering if this is suitable for the feed between the filter and turbo?

Cheers

You mean be the actual pipe that attaches to the turbo? It's plastic isn't it? That turbo gets mighty warm...

Call into any rubber and plastics place locally. They'll sell similar hose, and might even cut some off as a freebie sample.

I got some 60mm hose from ebay, like the stuff of the back of a tumble dryer. Only about a tenner.

Just make sure it's metal lined so it doesn't collapse when the turbo starts sucking.

Old post...

I have some of the 60mm hose as above, finding it a bit of a struggle to get in there without crushing it. There is one of the water hoses in the way and the wastegate also gets in the way.. anyone got a suggestion as how to not fook up the hose? Ideally wastegate could do with pushing aside whilst it goes on..

Hi Brett. Well the bulkhead box was installed before I got the car, and it was running a turbo then with a solid rubber hose to air filter. The room is obviously there but its a massive struggle...
