Gents,

I'm looking at scrapping my wiring loom and running in a new one.

Got a K headed a-series that I'm going to be running canems EFI and a supercharger on and the wiring is a bit rough as it stands and I want to be sure of no problems.

Seen these from the states, usually meant for hot rods but they seem to have plenty of capacity and seem reasonably priced.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Ewan

I've been thinking about what to do with my Marcos' wiring recently. I have nothing to start with though *frown*. CBS Online sell a fuse box/relay holder, but compared with these now seems a tad pricey!
Wondered about a recent MPI loom, but there are a few bit I wouldn't need, and others bits I'd still have to add...
If you do go for one, show some pics as I'd be very interested!

I'm building my own from scratch, so I can add in the MS and such.

This one seems the favourite right now.

That looks pretty good actually Ewan.

That does look nice. Does anyone know if theres a program where you can put in what accessories you want, like ecu's, digidash, and everything electrical. Then it will put wires between everything to make it all work? Then you can use that as a schematic and make your own loom.

A quick google search popped this up.

http://www.mentor.com/products/electrical-...circuit-design/

Don't know if it's any use but it looks the part.

If anyone else is interested in those looms from the states I've asked if they'd be interested in offering a deal for ordering as a group. Would save on postage if nothing else.

For me, I'm keen to remove any uncertainty with the wiring in my car particularly when it comes to adding in all the EFI, etc.

Cheers,

Ewan

I've had a response from these guys on the 22 circuit loom and they could be willing to offer a discount depending on quantity? I'm going to order a couple, one for now and one for a future project. Anyone else interested? I can get a price once I get an idea of numbers? If nothing else should save on postage? Cheers, Ewan

Dear ewan_me,

I have been searching information about wiring looms and came across your thread about the american made 22 circuit looms that are for sale.

I was wondering, did you order this kit and if so how did you find installing it into your mini?

I'm wondering whether I would be able to do something like this.

Please let me know how you got on.

Many thanks

Miles
