I'm wondering if anyone has a pic of the turbo carb on the manifold with everything hooked up? I've got mine, and it's all rebuilt, but something just doesn't sit right and I want to see if I'm just being a sod, or what. Thanks in advance!

Somewhat. What I'm having trouble with is the orientation of the abutment plate. If looking at the motor, which side should the throttle and choke be on? Is it as standard on the HS4? |

if its a turbo carb the throttle should be on the side you can see(in the pic above) the choke on the other side, if its a converted n/a carb both will be on the other side you cant see (again in the pic)

It does, a lot. Mine has both on the side I can see. So, the abutment plate should face so that the throttle cable and choke cable are above that, correct? Sorry for the newbie questioning, I'm feeling like a right idiot right now and can't figure out what I'm looking at(not enough coffee maybe?) |

would it not be easer to move them to the other side, i think if you turn the plate around the cables dont line up straight

It has the d on the carb, but isn't the other one on the carb spacer? That's the only thing I don't have a current, but I know minimania does one in aluminum... |

no the D on the front of the carb is on the flange on turbo carbs, not their on n/a carbs, but dont worry its useless imo Yes i moved to the darkside |
