ok im toying with the idea of selling my miniota, it would really help me out of a financial pickle, tbh guys dont want this thread to turn into a reasons not to sell it please. i know it depends on buyer etc but any ideas will make me easier to decide.

ok 1974 clubman shell only welding its had is genuine sills, abs 2 piece f/g front, rear arches tubbed, bulkhead box, cooper s 7.5 brakes, sports pack arches. theres is nothing done to shell to stop a series being fitted again. shell is mint with bare metal pics to prove. ive got every mot for this car and lots of history (doesnt really mean anything now tho, but still nice)

toyota starlet turbo engine in standard (approx 135bhp), home made subframe etc

for anyone who cant remeber what it looks like

Just by going off what engine conversions sell for over here, youd make more money with an a series. And you can flog off the 4efte, but ive no idea what a 4e is worth over there.

i think its a hard one to price, due to the amount of work ect, but i would ask for 4500 minimum, if you can wait out for good money maybe 5500?

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I would guess a quick sale at about 4k, but would push for 5k, maybe 6k. All the engine conversions seem to vary in price. sometimes cheap, sometimes not.

I paid a little over 3 for my part finished project that was mint but i think that was cheap. I must have spent another 1500 getting it to where it is now. (btw it was running today! *happy*)

Too bad about selling up but hey, that's life !

I would tend to think the same as best_stig : a-series it back and sell a 4fte engine conversion on the side.
