Wow, Omega really are losing market share of the A-series piston... Still, lessons learnt and all that! On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

The compression is the same, slightly better power as the offset dish is under the valves I presume

About 6 weeks for the 73.5 18cc. They will be the lightest forged pistons on the market. We're also saving weight by having very light gudgeon pins made. There being made exclusivly for us by a division of cosworth. |

The price is near the top of the tread. Less expensive than all forged omega's and JE's. |

bet they are perfect if you snap a timing chain or similar and a valve drops down - or if you see washers in the spark plug holes! Less chance of damage Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

Avonbar - how come we've been waiting many, many, many years for pistons like this (a larger dish and alternative to Omega), then like a bus, two different types come along at once!!!

I've only been into em for about a year and a half now and this site has got really busy compared to when i first started posting on here. and there's gonna be a load more about that dont know this place exists! Yes turbodave! The turbo mini market has grow over the last year. The main reason for the new pistons, As you might know is that omega's are hard to get hold of now.
