Can anyone help me with the exact size / measurement between the door sills? Ideally I need the measurement between the lip that the seal fits on (the seam with the inner sill and door step). Preferebly nearer the back of the car. I am about to fit a new door step to the drivers side of my car. But no matter what doors I have had on in the past the door step at the bottom corner has always sat in by about 5mm. I just want to check the size before I go refitting everythin in the exact same place.

1270mm on one shell, 1271mm on the other. The second has had new inner sills (fitted by someone else) so I would go with 1270, the difference is only 1mm and 1270 happens to be exactly 50".

Thanks Rod, I will get into the garage tomorrow and check it. I am a bit like you the car has had sills in the past (not fitted by me) so just want to check everything over |
