Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Looking at taking a really good job oppurtunity down there but would mean living there monday to friday.

I've been down and it seems like a decent enough place with plenty to do. Any good/bads areas to find/avoid? I want to be in cycling distance of the centre. The job is based over the road from the Tesco's.

*smiley*

Really should add I personally wouldnt opt to live in Yarmouth as it is pretty rough and full of imigrants (nothing against them at all!) Try Gorleston, just south of yarmouth, alot more pleasent and within cycling distance!

I've found a place in belton that looks ok, and also another in oulton broad, obviously thats maybe a bit far for biking.

And yes, it may be for Perenco *wink* I've accepted the position but have to keep things under wraps at the mo as I wont be starting for about 7 weeks and my current employer doesnt know anything

Oulton Broad is OK, but I would not bike to Yarmouth from there.....

It's only 10 miles each way (so doeable) but parts of the A12 en-route are dangerous even for cars.....

I would sugest you spend a weekend up around the Lowestoft/Yarmouth area and see what the roads are really like before you commit to biking......

I've done home/work (17 miles) a couple of times out of necessity a few years ago and even on the B roads, cyclists get no respect in East Anglia.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
