Really should add I personally wouldnt opt to live in Yarmouth as it is pretty rough and full of imigrants (nothing against them at all!) Try Gorleston, just south of yarmouth, alot more pleasent and within cycling distance!

Oulton Broad is OK, but I would not bike to Yarmouth from there..... It's only 10 miles each way (so doeable) but parts of the A12 en-route are dangerous even for cars..... I would sugest you spend a weekend up around the Lowestoft/Yarmouth area and see what the roads are really like before you commit to biking...... I've done home/work (17 miles) a couple of times out of necessity a few years ago and even on the B roads, cyclists get no respect in East Anglia. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
