Hi all

I need a bit of info please, i have plumbed in my brake circuit and have the 1989 onward servo/master cylinder setup. I ditched the FAM brake pressure regulator and fitted the rear subframe adjustable one from minispares.
The problem i have is i am not 100% sure if i have the front and rear circuits attached to the correct ports on the master cylinder, and if this matters at all. I currently have the port nearest the servo running the front.
I have been bleeding the brakes have removed all air from brake circuit, but the brake pedal only goes solidish on half the pedal travel on the second push, and on test driving it at slow speeds and emergency stopping the rear brakes will lock up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this problem has already made me miss Avon and dont want to miss the Pod as well.

cheers
Matt

yes you have the ports on the master cylinder the correct way around, when the brake peddle goes half way down before going firm i almost always found adjusting up the slack on the rear drums brings the brakes back up nicely,
regarding the rear brakes locking up, you should adjust and test the brakes repeatedly until the rears no longer lock up, as soon as they lock it would become very unstable and dangerous
i would be very happy with the front locking up and the rears not, at least it will skid straight

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*
