Finally painted the underside of my mini, its now away for paint. The painter recomanded a further step to rust proofing my floor, eg waxol or stone chip. The only thing is i dont want to wreck my nice new paint!! Any recomandations of anything that goes on clear and actualy dries unlike waxol?. cheers..

Wel you put stonechip on before you paint it so thats out of the question.

It depends what your doing with the car, waxoil the cavitys is a must, let it run into the seams then wipe it clean.

If your wanting it to look like it does now then just keep it clean.

Clear waxoyl is not actually clear, its a creamy yellow colour.

I like the colour.

Cheers i like the colout to thats why i dont want to ruin it after all the work went into painting it. Checked frost couldnt see clear stonechip just clear wax. Hard to know what to do, just leave it or try to protect it further..but maybe ruin the colour.

Have you got any paint left? Maybe you could do a test on some scrap steel and see how the end result looks
