I had changed oil today, because water was in it after the broken head gasket. And i found some awful pieces. Damn!

That tooth is off either the pinion or the Crownwheel - none of the others are long enough.

It looks very much like a chunk of bearing to me but i think the engine would be making a heck of a noise if it were.

Are they all steel ? or is the bearing looking one lead ?

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

That is only a we bit but it needs a big bit of repair very soon to stop further damage.

Been thinking about the steel slither...

I've seen something before where the support 'tang' (that useless piece of 'support' from a piece of 22 gauge putty steel brazed to the pickup tube) for a budget centre oil pickup was in the way of the big-end on #3.
The builder didn't notice it when mating the engine to the box, but it was VERY apparent next time it came apart. The rod had pummelled the tang such that it had bent into a thin slither - but it was still attached to the rest of the tang - and a lot smaller than your example.

Don't supposed you fitted a new centre oil pickup last time you had your gearbox work?

I bought the motor from an austrian mini dealer. The engine had been revised before by a private Englishman. I changed nothing to it. Crown wheel sounds better to me than idler wheel. *crying*
Time to take a look inside...
Or I drive till noises come and nothing moves... *tongue*
