Just wondering what the difference between a servo and non servo pedal box are? Are they interchangeable? |

I believe the difference is, a servo pedal box is sprung, and the push rod onto the servo mechanism is fixed, as opposed to removable on a clevis pin like the pre servo box Mr. Prawn, the friendly Crustacean- slowly making steps towards forced induction. |

The hole in the end of the brake pedal of a servo pedal box is larger too. so its not just a case of drilling out the rivet/ clevis on the push rod. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

That's right, i've just done this and after removing the rod from the pedal, the hole needs welding up and redrilling to the smaller, size to fit the new master cylinder.

On the two I've had, the pedals are different sizes. Small square for pre servo, and the larger hex shaped ones on servo. Not sure if that changed at a different time though....
