a guy around the corner is selling a metro turbo, this is all the details that i know;

mg metro turbo
f-reg, white, very clean,
unleaded big valve head,
fast road cam,
duplex timing gears,
electronic boost control,
dump valve,
quaife straight cut gearbox.

thinking of making an offer but dont want to go in too low and piss him off or too high and stich myself up?

or even anything that i can ask him about it, that i might not think about.

Approch him and say "what you thinking; 1500? 500? Give me a ball park so we can talk!"

This is what i always do. If they don't give you a ballpark, offer the lower price that you said. That way, they've no right to be offended if they're after 1500...
