Well, i havent been on here in over 3 years probably.

I never finished my original project, but still have alot of the parts, so have decided to do another turbo project.

This is the new car in question:

That was it about 5 years ago, the first time it was re-painted, its my mates car.
I replaced the front end on it and gave it a new colour, along with arches, wheels etc.

This time we decided to do it properly, so stripped it right down, cut the front end off again, and got the shell and front subframe blasted.

My mate took the subframe away (i'm in Somerset where the car is, and he's in Northampton) and got it powdercoated, along with some brace bars, and then built it up to look like this:

meanwhile i was left to work on the shell:

You can also make out in the above picture that the boot floor has been cut out for a carbon floor:

These are all the pics i currently have, will have to take some more next time i'm at the workshop.

It is currently a rolling shell at the moment.
Underside, inside and engine bay have all been painted in their final Old English White.
Front subframe is in, as is rear beam. Coilovers are on order.
Boot floor is in, and Aluminium Tank is mounted.
It currently has a 998 mounted, as we have only just decided to fit a turbo engine.

The metro turbo engine i currently have will be rebuilt to 1293cc,
and will use a T25 from a 200sx S13, on a Mirage manifold Setup.

Next step is to mount the coilovers, and put on the 13's it will be running, so I can make the flip front and trim it to clear wheels.
Then the exterior of the car can be painted.

Will hopefully update with some more progress soon.

Yeah the shell was really good.
We had previously welded a patch at the end of the drivers sill for an MOT,
and this time round after blasting we had to replace 1 sill, and weld a hole the size of a 10p piece in the floor, thats all the welding its ever needed.
