Hi i have bin putting it off fora while now but I'm at the point were I will need to pull the engine out and rebuild it, I thought while i was at it I may aswell upgrade some parts, I think the rings have gone so I would just like some advice on some parts to get me to about 120/130 bhp! Thanks mike

Hi Mike, have a look through some of the engine builds on here, loads of ideas on different specs.

Its hard to advise what you need to make the power when we don’t know what your starting with or your budget.

Need to give more info on what you currently have, what sort of budget you have, and of course what sort of usage.

A totally standard engine is easily capable of 120-130bhp, although that power can be delivered in various ways.

That's where you want to spend the money. Creating the best powerband for your needs.

That could likely involve getting rid of the old turbocharger in favour of something more modern. The actual engines themselves are actually very strong in standard form anyway.
