hello mini nuts was drawn to the website as easy to use and simple like myself. was wanting some advice i have turbo charged my 81 clubman it starts and runs fine but have not used it on the road yet as im also rebuilding the shell . i used the aparently untunable spi engine from a donore and am wondering on what u guys would sugest on giving it enough fuel to boost properly with the injecion unit or wether to just rip off the injection and run carbs for easyness and expense. any help i can get would be great thanx

Somewhere around Swindon

1) search for and read rods and pauls injection threads

2) junk the shit spi injection

3) decide that paul and rod are cleaver fuckers and you cant do what they do because your simple (your words)

4) fit a carb setup or for a bit of open wallet surgery go 16v, 8 or 7 port with injection and aftermarket ecu

ive got a 40 weber from my old 998 would that do it i think the inlet manifold might fit?

If you want to use your DCOE, you have to make it boost sensitive otherwise it will lean on boost.

a warm welcome if its your first turbo install ..........go with the crb set up much easier with fantastic results and no so fiddley, tiresome so to speak for you first build then progress to whatever floats your boat
