srs airbag lamps gone on

hi everyone,

i have just restored my mini 40 and started the engine tonight
but now the srs lamp on my dash won't go out anymore.

does anyone have any experience with this?

i have to go to the mot tomorrow and want to have it fixed

for now i'm gonna just leave out the lamp in the dash so the mot guys will not fail it but i have to come up with a solution...

have you checked under seat connections, then the yellow ring under the steering wheel is well known to fail.

That won't work it - they have a chart for cars which should have an SRS light and if yours does not light then go out - that is a fail also!

i found it, the rotary coupling is broken off on the inside so if anyone has one lying around i'm looking for this
