the bearings.

I would fit the cam dry and turn it a few turns, then remove it, you should be able to see high spots on the bearings. Use a fine grade good quality wet and dry paper with some oil and gently remove the high spots with a trial and error process. Make sure you clean out the bearing surfaces every time you trial fit the cam, don't let any contamination get bedded into the bearing surface.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

What ever you do DON'T use wet n dry of any abrasive paper! There is a good chance that'll lead to damage of the bearing jounals on the camshaft.

Use the correct tool, a bearing scraper.
