and i keep reading about the t25 having a high AR of the nissan
what solves this and please dont say the tomcat .lol

would a inter cooler help as i can get a fezzy turbo one cheap ?would it hurt ?

you can get 18cc accralite +0.020 pistons for less than that. Have a look at avonbar's website.

You should always fit an intercooler if you physically can

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

hi there creding mirage fine, the T25 fine but i would opt for a GT17 off the sarb 95

100 bhp is easy with around 6psi ish ... of boost depending on the rest of your engine spec ?????????

an intercooler is not the icing on the cake its MORE CAKE!

the wrapping of the exhaust only helps somewhat with out going into details ......... the Benross motor has it wrapped

forgot to mention ... the omega pistons are great!! but........... for £100 less you can get accralites and in all my engine builds i use these with no problems todate they are a higher spec piston.

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

For 100 bhp I really wouldn't bother with the expense of a forged piston, the cast Omega will be more than up to the job.

I think you will be disapointed with the 200sx t25 especially at low boost for 100bhp. It wont boost until 4000 rpm with the massive .64 exhaust housing, and feels quite laggy, ive just took one off my car and switched to something more modern.

Cheers for all the replys.

i just saw the MED pistons on the off chance am i looking for 18cc , +0.020 pistons can anyone link me to some decent ones ?.
I have had a look at the gt17 as i searched but didn't know how compatible it is with the mirage i PM'd a member as he trail fitted it and tilted the engine slightly forward i belive if the are a straight fit or if you can get an adapter plate i could well use one of those .
with regards to the engine spec new pistons as mentioned above standard internals refurbed or new ones .

Which leads me on to ignition will a metro turbo system be any sufficient

cheers for the help

If you are going to fit a different turbo, lower the compresion ratrio and add an intercooler then chances are the advance curve of the metro turbo dizzy won't be suitable for your engine. Presonally, I would look into using megajolt.

Accralite pistons:

Why do you need 18cc's in the piston?

I'd expect you'd want a relatively high CR for 100bhp.

In the 13's at last!.. Just
