I was given a 1275 auto mini and just wanted to know what is needed to change this to a manual.

I know that the dipstick needs drilling and that a oil filter has to be fitted to the block
Can this be drilled like the standard block for a fair price or can it be mounted else were?

Also does anything else need doing to the engine block that i have missed?

You need to make an adaptor plate up to fit a 'normal' oil pump. Drill out a gallery where the PRV is. And blank off another gallery. There is a 'how to' on one of the Aus forums.

is it worth doing this or less expensive to buy a new block?

You can buy the adapter plates. If you're getting a machinr shop to bore, skim block then I can' imagine they'd charge a great deal to drill a gallery out.

Ive got an Auto block as a spare, worth keeping imo.
